  1. Water water water

Always and forever. Always keep yourself hydrated in order to flush out the toxins from your body. These toxins are responsible for acne and breakouts on your face and body. Keep them out to keep your skin glowing and happy.

  1. Spice it a little less

No matter how much you love spicy food, try and avoid it in summers. Spicy food tend to heat up the body causing acne and breakouts. Also limit extra salty food as they can dehydrate you and you know what dehydration means for your skin.

  1. Spray up!

Keep a spray bottle of water in refrigerator and spray up your face as soon as you get home from excessive heat. This calms down your skin and provides instant relief acting as a coolant for your face.

  1. Home remedies

Home remedies were, are and will always be the best. Multani mitti pack works wonders for your skin as it is one of the best coolants. Make a paste of multani mitti, curd, lemon and rose water and apply on your face. You can also add a little aloe vera gel to the pack. Apply pack for 15 minutes and wash with cold water.

  1. Eat fruits

Seasonal fruits are great for your skin. Watermelon and melon are high in water content and help in flushing out toxins and also keep you hydrated, making them best friends for your skin.

  1. Meditate

You can never underestimate the power of meditation. If you are calm inside, it will show on your face and skin. Meditate daily for at least 15 minutes and you will see the change in your skin.

Keep these points in mind to keep your skin calm and cool in the vibrant sun outside. P.S. Don’t forget covering your face up with a scarf before you step out of home and keep your water bottle handy.
